Kat was in High School Musical as Taylor McKessie. The show was good, in a gym, and the kids did a wonderful job. Kat showed an animation on stage which I don’t see too often in person. Maybe I am just boring. However, I think I am done with HSM. Three times is enough! So we junked our van today. Just a car, right? If it’s just a car, why do I feel like crying? In 1995, our new family, just married the year before, replaced Bette’s old Chrysler Fifth Avenue “Blue Whale” with a brand new Dodge Ram Conversion van. Brand shiny new, with captain’s chairs, interior rope [...] Saw Kat in the Deerfield Family Theater production of Bye Bye Birdie at Caruso Middle School in Deerfield. She was one of the teen extras, and it was fun to see her up there. The sets were great, and the cast was good. We found Sara there by phone. Sam was in an early wave, and was in the water by the time we got there, so we waited on the beach for him to come out. We arrived Friday from a series of thunderstorms thru Wisconsin, and the weather in Minneapolis was gorgeous, but real hot and humid. We checked into the Casa, and visited with Sam for a while.
