Good Earth — or not?

I drink a lot of tea at work, especially. One coffee in the morning, then green tea all day. I usually mix something fun, like a chai or Constant Comment Green, with a plain green.

I was looking at the back of the Good Earth Vanilla Chai and saw “A TATA Enterprise”. Most Americans might think that a teabag is a strange place for a tacky pseudonym for “breast”, but to a software developer constantly wondering about outsourcing, this is a known beast. The Tata Consultancy is a huge software developer/outsourcer in India, and the parent conglomerate is the Tata Group.

Went to Good Earth’s website. They were acquired in 2005 by the British Tetley who was acquired in 2000 by Tata. Nothing is simple anymore.
