I was going thru old files to try to throw some out and reduce clutter. Anything to avoid entering a year’s worth of bills into QUicken for April 15.
Anyway, I found an invoice from MegaHaus from 11/17/1994 when I was working at ZyLAB in Arlington Heights (before they were moved to DC).
QTY | PART | DESCRIPTION | COST |
1 | HC4110 | 1.05 GIG 8.5MS. FAST SCSI-2 3.5″ 5 YR. | $570.00 |
1 | A1522BASIC | 16 SCSI,FLOPPY,EZ-SCSI SOFTWARE, N/C | $109.00 |
1 | CABLESCSI2 | 2 DRIVE INTERNAL SCSI CABLE 3 CONNECT | $20.00 |
YOW. $570 for a 1.05 G drive! I think this was when I was gettting the SCSI bug — I needed an Adaptec 1522 for my scanner and decided a hi-performance SCSI was perfect for my new Gateway tower!
